Happy Founders' Day!

"113 years ago tonight, on October 5, 1904, our Ten Founders met in the Assembly Room of 32 Waverly Place in Manhattan, and the world's first professional business fraternity was born from the inspiration of noble minds. On October 5, 2017, we're stronger than ever thanks to the efforts of those who have come before us and the passion of our brothers, those currently in leadership roles, volunteer roles, and staff. We each share a passion for this organization that goes beyond simple membership, a true testament to the ideals on which we were founded; it's that passion that motivates all of us to do all we can to protect that which we've helped to build over 113 years.

While the Brooklyn Four and the Ten Founders would find their posterity quite different from what they initially founded, the modern Alpha Kappa Psi has evolved to become a beacon of principled business leadership and professional development in higher education, and we're still not done evolving. From that small room in New York City to today, with over 300 charters granted in four different countries around the world, we can all take pride in the organization we are privileged to be a part of.

Thank you for all you do for Alpha Kappa Psi, whether it's from your university, home, or place of work. We're a better organization for having each of you be a part of it.
